Accessibility Fund
Is it hard for you to imagine your birth without a doula?
Did your doula make all the difference in birth or postpartum?
Now imagine not having access to this vital part of your team that walked with you on your journey.
We believe everyone should have a doula.
Doulas provide essential support that improves outcomes for birthing and postpartum families. This work is necessary due to the current maternal mortality crisis in the U.S. and their lackluster neonatal mortality rates.
Insurance does not cover doulas. It covers medical care without educational, emotional or physical support needed for a life transition such as birth and postpartum.
Our goal is to make doula care, childbirth education, lactation classes and more accessible to all in an effort to provide expecting families to have a better birth or postpartum experience.
People who are marginalized are already working against a system that doesn’t work for them.
**These funds are used to provide scholarships to our classes and provide doula services to the communities that need it the most in addition to providing mentorship opportunities for BIPOC + LGBTQIA+ doulas!**
Donate here to help us provide a necessary service.
